I finally got my seat mounted on there. I used a biltwell seat hinge and the lowbrowcustoms spring mounts. I’m not the greatest welder but there is nothing a grinder can’t help clean up.

I finally got a chance to work on my bike this Sunday for a little bit. Things are moving slowly but surely. I was able to Drill and Tap some holes in my frame to mount the gas tank. Still need to get some rubber washers for the vibration.

After that I grinded down the old gas tank mount. The new seat mount hinge should be welded right over this.

My old hardtail had a battery box on there that I wanted to use so I cut that off of there.

Just need to sand blast it real quick and prime it.

Hopefully this following weekend I can get my seat mounted then the oil tank. More to come.
Here is a Triumph build with a late 1930’s-early 40’s Norton girder. Looks badass. I really like the look of bikes when they are unfinished. Not really sure why.

A very nice bike that was built with a goal in mind.

This is just the start to a long journey. I still have a whole new front end to put on there. Still have to weld the seat mounts, oil tank, fender and other bits. Also got the new gas tank to mount, all new cables and last pull the motor polish it up a bit and rebuild it. Fabricate some new exhaust pipes. Then while the motor is out I’m gonna get the frame powder coated and hopefully by then I should have my new rims built up as well. You get the idea.
How we started out.

What the? Split in half.

New Hardtail. 4in. Stretch and 2.5in. drop. looks better.

Working in the Dark sucks.

Roller.
